Our tilework
What began as a vison of what could be, has finally come to fruition. We had ugly 1960's gold speckled tile in the hall bathroom, and wanted to modernize it. When we removed the drywall, we began to find some nice surprises. The first surprise was bare aluminum wire fished between the drywall and 2x4 studs. To accomadate the wire, the "craftsman" carved a groove into the drywall wrapped the wire in newspaper, and glued it down with spackle. We feel very blessed there hasn't been a fire, and we have to wonder what other surprises lie between these walls.
