Feb 24 2017 - Salt River below Stewart Mountain Dam

I took a drive to see / photograph the Salt River Wild Horses. I didn't see any horses at the usual spots along the Verde, at Butcher Jones Beach or the Salt River. I went to Blue point Bridge and decided to hike a trail back to a federally protected Bald Eagle nesting area. I didn't see any eagles, but took these shots while hiking. The first just shows the three fishermen enjoying the tranquility of fly fishing in the quiet calm of a cool February morning.
